Shiseido Launches First eCommerce Site in US Market
NEW YORK, August 9, 2011 – Shiseido has officially unveiled their first eCommerce site, opening up a new sales pipeline in the highly lucrative US Market. The site features not only online shopping, but also video tutorials, makeup tips and company information. Shiseido’s line of makeup, skincare, sun care, fragrance and men’s products can now be purchased online.
Shiseido appointed Night Agency to lead the massive site overhaul in January 2011 as part of a concerted effort to further integrate digital and social into their marketing mix. Night Agency was responsible for leading creative and strategic development for the iconic beauty brand’s digital presence in the US, and tapped partners Netrada and Demandware to provide eCommerce solutions. Night Agency has also been awarded responsibility for digital media planning and buying as well as supporting specific product launches in the digital space.
